2026 SSC Exams Likely Delayed Amid Election, Ramadan

Uncertainty surrounding the 2026 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations continues to deepen, as fresh challenges have emerged following the cancellation of the revised curriculum and the decision to hold the examinations solely on the Class 10 syllabus for one year. The latest concern is that the SSC and equivalent examinations may be delayed by at least three months due to the national parliamentary election, the holy month of Ramadan, and the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays.

GST Universities Announce Admission Schedule for 2024–25

The admission schedule and application circular for the first-year undergraduate program of GST (General, Science and Technology) cluster universities for the 2024–25 academic year have been published. The online application process will begin on 10 December and continue until 24 December.

JnU Reopens; JACSU Election Rescheduled to Dec 30

Jagannath University (JnU), which was closed due to earthquake-related concerns, will reopen on Monday following a 14-day suspension of academic activities. At the same time, the university has rescheduled the Central Students’ Union (JACSU) and hall union elections for 2025, pushing the voting date back to December 30. Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Md Rezwan Karim announced the decision on Thursday after a meeting of the university syndicate.
