IAAS International Climate Conference 2025 is set to take place on 14 December (Sunday) at the TSC Complex of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, with the theme “From Fields to Future: Youth Driving Agricultural Climate Solutions.” Organized by IAAS Bangladesh SAU–Dhaka, the conference aims to position young people at the forefront of responding to the impacts of climate change on agriculture.
The daylong conference will feature multiple thematic focus areas addressing major climate challenges. These include climate-smart agriculture and sustainable food systems; water, flood and coastal ecosystem management; climate adaptation in livestock, fisheries and aquatic systems; renewable energy, green technology and agricultural innovation; biodiversity conservation, agroforestry and landscape restoration; food security, policy and climate justice; and waste, pollution and circular solutions in agriculture. Organizers believe these topics will play a crucial role in ensuring future food security and building a sustainable environmental landscape.
A series of events has been arranged around the conference. Participants will have opportunities to present their research and innovations through scientific sessions, oral presentations and poster presentations. The conference will also include career talks, expert panel discussions, training and capacity-building sessions, and a project exhibition. These activities aim to create significant opportunities for young participants to gain knowledge, exchange experiences and build networks with experts and peers.
