Bashiruddin Warns of Onion Imports Amid Price Hike

Commerce Adviser Sheikh Bashiruddin has said that if onion prices do not return to the desired level within this week, the government will decide to allow imports. He made the announcement on Sunday, November 9, during a media briefing on the current onion market situation at the Ministry of Commerce. Commerce Secretary Mahbubur Rahman was also present.
