The admission schedule and application circular for the first-year undergraduate program of GST (General, Science and Technology) cluster universities for the 2024–25 academic year have been published. The online application process will begin on 10 December and continue until 24 December.
The information was confirmed in a circular signed by Professor Dr. Md. Monzurul Haque, Secretary of the Integrated Admission Committee of the GST cluster universities.
According to the circular, this year’s written admission tests will be held under three units: Unit A (Science), Unit B (Humanities) and Unit C (Business Studies).
Students who passed SSC or equivalent examinations in 2021, 2022 or 2023 and HSC or equivalent examinations in 2024 or 2025 will be eligible to apply.
The circular further states that the admission application window will remain open from 10 to 24 December. The admission tests will take place next year on 27 March, 3 April and 10 April. The Unit C examination will be held on 27 March, followed by Unit B on 3 April and Unit A on 10 April.
A total of 19 universities will participate in the GST cluster this year. These include Islamic University, Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University, Patuakhali Science and Technology University, Noakhali Science and Technology University, Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University, Jessore Science and Technology University, Pabna University of Science and Technology, Begum Rokeya University and Gopalganj University of Science and Technology.
The remaining universities are Barishal University, Rangamati Science and Technology University, Rabindra University, University of Frontier Technology, Netrokona University, Jamalpur University of Science and Technology, Chandpur University of Science and Technology, Kishoreganj University, Sunamganj University of Science and Technology and Pirojpur University of Science and Technology.
