In the past 24 hours, four more people have died from dengue across the country, bringing the total death toll this year to 343.
According to a press release issued on Tuesday afternoon (November 18) by the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services, a further 920 patients were admitted to hospitals during this period. The total number of dengue cases in the country has now reached 86,924.
Authorities continue to monitor the situation closely and urge the public to take preventive measures against dengue, including eliminating mosquito breeding sites and maintaining proper hygiene.
