The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has forecast continuous rainfall across the country for the next five days, after which the intensity is expected to subside. Meanwhile, the country is likely to experience increased heat over the next 24 hours, with a drop in temperature expected from Sunday morning.
In its latest forecast issued on Saturday morning for the next 120 hours, the Met Office stated that the monsoon trough extends from Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Gangetic West Bengal, and southern Bangladesh to Assam, with another extension reaching the northern Bay of Bengal.
