
DHAKA: Aiming to reshape the local animal nutrition sector, Ecolex Animal Nutrition and Renata PLC Animal Health Division jointly hosted the “Partnering for Progress: Ecolex & Renata PLC Innovation Forum” on Saturday evening, October 18, at the Dhaka Regency Hotel & Resort Ltd.
The exclusive forum marked the Bangladesh launch of Ecolex’s Adjacent Technologies Portfolio, introducing a suite of innovative feed solutions designed to boost nutrient efficiency, animal performance, and overall sustainability in the livestock sector.
The event kicked off with opening remarks from Mr. Sirajul Hoque, Director of Renata PLC’s Animal Health Division, and Mr. Edward Manchester, Global Commercial Director of Ecolex Animal Nutrition. Both highlighted the partnership’s focus on achieving science-based, sustainable growth in Bangladesh's animal health industry.
In the technical sessions, Mr. Manchester detailed advanced nutritional technologies like LipoAMP and EnzaMax Pro, which are engineered to enhance digestibility and nutrient absorption. He also championed the ONE Health approach, which integrates microbial and viral interventions to improve animal performance while maintaining environmental balance.
Mr. Lesley WJ Nernberg, a Nutrition and Business Development Consultant, introduced the next generation of safety solutions, including PuraTox, PuraTox Pro, and AcidMax Pro, which offer new strategies for mycotoxin control and gut health management. He also discussed science-driven strategies to combat local bacterial and viral challenges specific to the Bangladeshi poultry industry.
Rounding out the presentations, Mr. Rajan Seralathan, Head of South Asia, introduced HAPeLaY, a synergistic innovation developed to maximize laying hen performance through optimized nutrient utilization.
The forum concluded with a networking dinner, allowing industry leaders, veterinarians, and nutrition experts to exchange ideas on the future of feed technology and sustainable animal production.
