
The Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee of Bangladesh has announced that the results of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations for 2025 will be published on October 16 at 10:00 a.m.
According to an official press release issued on Monday, the results will be available on the websites of the respective education boards, at all examination centers, educational institutions, and through SMS.
Institutions can download their results by visiting the official website www.educationboardresults.gov.bd and clicking on the “Result” corner using their respective board and institution EIIN numbers. Similarly, individual examinees can access their results from the same website or through the websites of their respective education boards.
Students can also receive their results via SMS by sending their information to the designated short code 16222. However, results will not be available at the education boards, the Ministry of Education, or newspaper offices.
The press release further stated that applications for result re-evaluation will be accepted from October 17 to October 23 through the website https://rescrutinu.eduboardresult.gov.bd. Details regarding the application process will be announced through the education boards’ websites and newspaper notices.
This year’s HSC and equivalent examinations began on June 26 and concluded on August 19, though a few subjects were delayed and held later than scheduled. By regulation, the results must be published within 60 days of the completion of written exams.
A total of 1,251,111 students registered for the examinations under 11 education boards, including the Dhaka, Rajshahi, Cumilla, Jashore, Chattogram, Barishal, Sylhet, Dinajpur, and Mymensingh Boards, as well as the Bangladesh Madrasa Education Board and the Bangladesh Technical Education Board. Among them, 618,015 were male and 633,096 were female candidates. The exams were conducted across 2,797 centers nationwide.
Approximately 27,000 registered students did not appear in the exams, leaving around 1.22 million examinees now awaiting their results.
