
The results of this year’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations have been published, revealing that 508,701 students failed to pass. According to the official data, 41.17 percent of the total examinees did not achieve a passing grade.
The results were simultaneously released on Thursday, October 16, at 10 a.m. by all education boards. Students can access their results through their respective institutions, the official websites of the education boards, and via SMS.
A total of 1,235,661 students participated in the 2025 HSC and equivalent examinations across the country. Among them, 726,960 students passed, bringing the average pass rate to 58.83 percent, while 508,701 students failed, representing a 41.17 percent failure rate.
