The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast light rain accompanied by thunderstorms in isolated areas of the country, along with patches of light fog in some regions.
According to the BMD, the seasonal low lies over the South Bay of Bengal, and its extension reaches the North Bay.
In its 24-hour forecast from 9 a.m. Friday (November 7), the BMD said that light rain or thundershowers may occur at one or two places in the Chattogram division. Elsewhere in the country, the weather is expected to remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy skies. Light fog may develop in some northern or northeastern areas early in the morning. Day and night temperatures are likely to remain nearly unchanged across the country.
The 24-hour forecast beginning Saturday morning predicts mainly dry weather throughout Bangladesh with partly cloudy skies. Light fog may form in some northeastern regions early in the morning. Night temperatures may fall by 1–2 degrees Celsius, while day temperatures may drop slightly.
For Sunday, the forecast suggests that the weather will remain mainly dry across the country with temporary partly cloudy skies. Light fog may occur in parts of Chattogram and Sylhet divisions during early hours. Both day and night temperatures are expected to decrease slightly.
On Monday, the weather is expected to remain mostly dry nationwide with partly cloudy conditions. Day and night temperatures are likely to drop slightly.
Similarly, the forecast for Tuesday indicates mainly dry weather with partly cloudy skies across the country. Night temperatures may decrease slightly, while day temperatures are expected to remain nearly unchanged.
