Rajshahi University has temporarily suspended two of its faculty members from all academic and departmental responsibilities following student allegations lodged against them. The decision will remain in effect until the investigation concludes, the university authorities announced.
The information was disclosed in an official press release issued on Sunday night by the university’s Public Relations Office. According to university sources, the suspended teachers are Saju Sardar and Tanzil Bhuiyan, both serving as assistant professors in the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management.
The university stated that the suspension was imposed based on recommendations from the first meeting of the investigation committee, as well as in light of other relevant complaints received against the two faculty members. The administration emphasized that the action is temporary and will continue until the inquiry reaches a final resolution.
